OUR PRODUCTS
Our candles & reed diffusers are beautifully handcrafted in a tiny village near Sherborne, Dorset with quality fragrances and materials.
All of our products are vegan and not tested on animals. The majority of our packaging is recyclable or recycled.
Buying a candle or reed diffuser without smelling the fragrance first can be confusing. So, we have created 'Try Before You Buy'. For just £5 you can select up to 5 sample sticks infused with your preferred fragrance oils and we will post them to you sealed inside small individual ziplock bags.
If your order is for a gift, then you have the option to let us write your personal message onto a blank card and we will post your gift directly to the recipient. We can also produce bespoke candles for weddings, events or corporate gifts etc. Please contact us for more information.
ABOUT US
The Compton Candle Company is based in a village on the outskirts of Sherborne in the beautiful English county of Dorset and was established in 2019. Our aim is to create beautifully handcrafted products using high quality ingredients at affordable everyday prices.

Working from our studio, we hand make our products in small batches with attention to detail and a passion for creating wonderfully scented products.

We pride ourselves on our customer service and building long-term relationships with our customers.
OUR INGREDIENTS
Unlike many of the mass produced popular High Street brands that use paraffin wax, we only use sustainably sourced soy wax in our candles.
Soy wax burns at a lower temperature, produces less soot and releases less particulates into the air.

We stumbled upon your market stall in Bridport whilst on holiday in September 2021. The guys on the stall were so helpful. I bought a Sweet Orange diffuser, not girlie nor masculine. The diffuser was placed in our bathroom 2nd week in September. We are now in 2nd week in February and the diffuser is still 40% charged..I will definitely be a returning customer!
